Standard Models and Made to Order
"Pre-fab" doesn't mean generic It means shelters
are built in the factory and delivered in pre-glazed sections
for ease of handling, and fast on-site installation. Columbia
pre-fabricated shelters can be created in any design, from the
most contemporary in appearance to more traditional styles such
as Post-Modern and even Victorian. They can even be made to
blend in with the area's architectural style.
Alt Columbia shelters are made of custom aluminum extrusions,
specifically designed for their intended purpose. We offer a
variety of structural framing systems, window frame designs,
roof facia extrusions, and base details. Customers can also
choose from a variety of glazing materials, aluminum finishes,
and roof designs. Many accessories can be incorporated into
our shelters to further meet your individual requirements.
Our standard shelters are available in three basic wall configurations:
for narrow sidewalks, wide sidewalks, and espec[ally windy locations.
The first type is usually three sided with a cantilevered roof;
the second type is similar but with wider side walls and a non-cantilevered
root the third type adds a wind screen or front wall, and can
even incorporate one or more doors. Our design professionals
can assist you in selecting the proper standard or custom design
to meet your unique requirements.
